The problem is, if I re-open the saved invoice, we will call it Invoice #100, excel asks me if I want to update, if I say either yes or no, the invoice number will change to Invoice #101.

The auto numbering system works great! However. I have code that generates a new invoice number each time the template is opened in VBA Editor. I have an Excel Invoice Template, saved as a template. Sorry, I didn't quite know how to word the title.
